The Opportunity: Tech PR Director in a Global PR Agency (B2B & B2C)

As the Tech PR Director, you will lead both B2B and B2C PR campaigns for high-profile technology clients. You will develop and execute strategic PR plans that align with clients’ business goals, manage media relations, and position clients as leaders in their respective markets. You will work across a range of sectors, driving visibility and engagement with both corporate and consumer audiences. This is a leadership role where you will manage a team, mentor junior staff, and contribute to business development efforts to win new clients and expand the agency’s presence in the tech space.

Key Responsibilities: B2B & B2C Tech PR Strategy & Execution

  • You will lead the development and execution of integrated B2B and B2C PR strategies designed to elevate client brands and deliver measurable business outcomes.

  • By collaborating with senior leadership, you will craft impactful messaging and high-quality content, including thought leadership, white papers and case studies, tailored to diverse tech audiences.

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key journalists and influencers will be a priority to secure top-tier media coverage and high-profile speaking engagements for executives.

  • Acting as a trusted advisor and primary spokesperson, you will provide strategic counsel on brand positioning and manage sensitive crisis communications when necessary.

  • Managing and mentoring junior team members is a core part of this role to ensure a collaborative culture and the consistent delivery of high-quality campaigns.

  • Your focus on business growth will involve identifying new opportunities, leading high-stakes pitches and managing budgets to ensure a strong ROI that aligns with client goals.

Candidate Profile:

  •  Significant experience in both B2B and B2C technology PR within an agency environment.
  • Proven track record of managing successful integrated PR campaigns that drive brand awareness and lead generation for both business and consumer tech brands.
  • Media relations experience, with an established network in both B2B and B2C tech media.
  •  Expertise in crafting tailored messaging for both corporate decision-makers and end consumers.
  •  Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information in a clear and engaging way.
