Account Director – Clean Transport

We have partnered with an award-winning, independent, B-corp agency to find an Account Director for their fast-growing Energy and Clean Tech team. The 55+ strong firm is fully committed to making the world more sustainable, working on global advocacy campaigns and cutting-edge technologies in energy, transport, nature, and climate finance.  Reporting to the Head of Transport, this role will lead and support a portfolio of integrated comms campaigns including EV infrastructure, sustainable fuels, maritime decarbonisation, and clean transport leaders.

The clean transport team helps scale the technology and innovation to drive the shift to zero carbon transport this decade. As an ambitious and experienced Account Director, you’ll be responsible for developing and delivering creative communications strategies, building multi-disciplinary campaigns, managing high-performing teams, and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Devising and executing creative strategies and integrated campaigns
• Leading clients, managing relationships, accounts, and teams
• Project management of multiple accounts in a fast-paced work environment
• Financial management of client accounts, and ability to support new business pitches
• Leading, coaching, and building capabilities of team members

Key Requirements:

• Experience working for energy and/or clean transport companies, governments, and/or NGOs
• Multi-disciplinary comms expertise (media, digital, social, etc)
• Passion for making a difference on climate change and the world around us
• Excellent leadership and client management skills
• Growth mindset, with the ability to give and receive frank and fair feedback
