A leading international organisation headquartered in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Manager, Financial Communications to join its Communications function. This is a high-impact role responsible for shaping how the organisation’s financial performance and strategic narrative are conveyed to external audiences, in full compliance with regulatory requirements.
Reporting into senior leadership, you will develop and lead the company’s financial communications strategy, ensuring financial results, earnings releases and strategic initiatives are communicated clearly, accurately and on time. You will work closely with Investor Relations, Finance, Legal and Communications teams to deliver a consistent and compelling financial narrative across all channels.
This is a management position with direct reports, offering the opportunity to lead a specialist function within a high-profile, publicly listed organisation.
– Develop and implement financial communications strategies aligned to business objectives and regulatory requirements
– Lead the preparation and dissemination of earnings releases, financial reports and annual reports
– Craft compelling messaging around financial performance, growth strategy and corporate milestones
– Organise and lead investor roadshows, financial briefings and conference calls
– Prepare and counsel senior executives for media interviews and press conferences
– Liaise with Investor Relations on share price movements and investor sentiment
– Manage financial content across digital channels including the corporate website
– Ensure all financial disclosures comply with relevant market regulations, including ADX requirements
– Monitor changes in financial reporting regulations and implement compliance measures
– Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Finance and External Communications teams
– Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media, Public Relations, or equivalent
– Extensive experience in communications or public relations, at a managerial level
– Strong dedicated financial communications experience
– Experience at a publicly listed company and/or exposure to an IPO process is strongly preferred
– Proven ability to translate complex financial information into clear, accessible narratives
– Experience producing annual reports, financial announcements and press releases
– Knowledge of ADX regulations or equivalent listed market regulations
– Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
– Oil and gas or energy sector experience is an advantage
