Hanson Search has partnered with Balderton Capital assisting them in the recruitment of a Communications Manager to join their growing team. Having raised & invested over $4.5bn into some of Europe’s most exciting early-stage Tech startups Balderton continues to grow at pace.

This is exciting in-house opportunity, focussing on delivering innovative and engaging PR to relevant parties. You will have a client facing, account management background and highly proficient at dealing with PR and communications. You will have an interest in rapid growth businesses and previous experience of working in a high performance, values-based culture. Strong organisational skills essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write and publish website, social media and newsletter posts and ensure that every statement is fact checked and approved by relevant parties.
• Track and manage portfolio companies’ announcements and press releases to interested parties and social media.
• Follow an already clearly defined process for portfolio funding announcements with enthusiasm to continually improve on that process.
• Manage the flow of internal communications and ensuring the sharing of the announcements across appropriate channels.
• Manage flow of communications and tasks with contracted communications agencies to ensure everyone delivers at the highest quality.

Key Requirements:

• Superb and proactive communicator with PR and communications experience with agency and/or in-house clients.
• Social marketing proficiency, understanding the specific demands of channels such as LinkedIn and Twitter.
• Excellent grammatical and written skills.
• Highly organised and exceptional time management.
