We are partnering with an established international financial communications and capital markets advisory firm to appoint a Head of Financial Communications for its Saudi Arabia business.
The firm has a strong presence across the Middle East, with established offices in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, and advises leading corporates, financial institutions, government entities and investment organisations on complex communications matters. Its Saudi office is at an important stage of growth, with an existing team in place and ambitious plans to scale significantly over the next three years.
This is a senior leadership role for someone who can help take the business into its next phase, strengthening its position in the Kingdom and driving higher-value mandates across IPO, M&A, capital markets and strategic financial communications.
Key responsibilities of the Head of Financial Communications:
- Leading and developing the Saudi Arabia financial communications team
- Driving growth across the Kingdom, with a focus on major capital markets, IPO and M&A mandates
- Building trusted senior relationships with banks, lawyers, government entities, corporates, sovereign wealth funds and other key market stakeholders
- Supporting the firm’s commercial growth and helping convert market opportunity into long-term client relationships
- Working closely with regional leadership and the wider international network
Key requirements of this Communications role:
- Strong experience in financial communications, IPOs, M&A and capital markets advisory
- A background in a specialist financial communications agency, strategic communications consultancy or relevant in-house financial/capital markets role
- A strong understanding of the Saudi market, or direct experience advising clients connected to Saudi Arabia
- Established senior relationships across the financial, advisory, government or investment ecosystem
- The ability to lead teams, grow client relationships and drive revenue
