We are partnering with a leading global organisation to appoint a Vice President of Communications based in Washington, D.C. This is a senior leadership role requiring deep expertise within the oil & gas sector, operating at the intersection of corporate communications, reputation management and executive advisory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the global communications strategy across corporate, external and internal channels
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on messaging, positioning, and reputation
- Oversee media relations, crisis communications and executive communications
- Develop and deliver high-impact narrative strategies aligned to business priorities
- Manage and develop a high-performing communications team
- Ensure consistent messaging across complex, global stakeholder environments
Requirements:
- Significant experience in a senior communications role within the oil & gas industry
- Strong track record managing communications for large, complex organisations
- Deep expertise in media relations, crisis management and executive positioning
- Experience advising C-suite stakeholders in high-pressure environments
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Based in, or willing to relocate to Washington DC
