Our client, a leader in international Oil & Gas/Power and Energy, is seeking a Director  – Internal Communications to join the Head office team based in Abu Dhabi. This role is to lead the development and management of innovative communications strategy and internal practices. To oversee the internal communications platform and lead effective crisis communications and cross functional awareness, to increase understanding of the business objectives and promote the company image internally across all business lines globally while ensuring optimum employee engagement.

You will be responsible for the strategic internal communications strategy, to lead and oversee the development and implementation of the internal communications plan, identifying the communication needs, selection of channels, content, social media monitoring to ensure the right messages are conveyed to the right audience through the right channels. You will oversee the day-to day internal communication management, content development, communication plans, policies, programs,  platforms. Mange stakeholder mapping, collaborating with the CEO, Head of HC and other stakeholders. Leading, planning and implementation of internal events and to develop and execute the change management strategy and crisis communications.

Our client is looking for a candidate with at least 12 years’ experience in communications specifically in internal communication strategy and development ideally in the same sector, with a proven track record in  global, multi-site listed company that has gone through massive change.
