With over a decade of experience in recruitment, executive search, and headhunting, Barbara Ozanon leads Hanson Search’s European team, combining multilingual expertise and deep local market knowledge to deliver exceptional talent solutions across communications, public affairs, digital marketing, sales, and sustainability. She also heads the firm’s European Affairs desk, partnering with senior candidates and clients in public affairs, government relations, regulatory affairs, and public policy.

Barbara’s background spans corporate communications, strategic communications, public relations, content, digital and marketing. She has successfully led senior-level search assignments across France, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden, the Czech Republic and the Netherlands, often managing complex, cross-border mandates. Her clients include international corporations, global strategic consultancies, trade associations, and fast-growth start-ups in sectors such as energy, healthcare, technology, defence, financial services, agri-food, and trade. Some of her recent placements include Head of Office, Directors, Partners, Managing Directors, C-suite leaders, and EMEA Government Relations Directors.

A passionate advocate for gender equality in the industry she played a founding role in launching Global Women in PR France, championing leadership opportunities for women in the communications sector. Most recently, she spearheaded Hanson Search’s Gender Equality in Public Affairs event in Brussels, convening industry leaders to explore representation and leadership in public affairs, and is actively driving forward the Women in Public Affairs (WiPA) initiative in Brussels.
