A rare chance to run standout integrated digital campaigns for global B2B brands, in a genuinely people-first agency where good ideas count for more than hierarchy. Hanson Search is partnering with a leading brand, marketing and communications agency to find their next Senior Digital Marketing Manager.

About the agency

Our client is a global brand, marketing and communications agency working across brand, strategy, digital marketing, website and SEO, and PR and communications. They deliver measurable, high-impact integrated campaigns for B2B clients in technology, financial services, professional services, energy and industrials. What sets them apart is depth. They are built around specialist sector teams, so clients get people who genuinely understand their world rather than generalists.

The role: Senior Digital Marketing Manager

Sitting within the Digital practice, you will own the day-to-day relationship across a portfolio of clients. You will turn client goals into clear, measurable plans across PPC, paid social, SEO, and website and design projects, working hand in hand with channel specialists, developers, designers, and PPC and SEO leads, to deliver results.

This is a hands-on role in a non-hierarchical team where people do not stay in their lane, whether that is shaping strategy, running an account or getting into the detail of a client call.

You will love this role if you

  • Enjoy owning client relationships and turning business goals into clear, measurable digital plans.
  • Thrive across PPC, paid social, SEO and website and design projects, and like getting hands-on rather than staying purely in account management.
  • Get energy from working shoulder to shoulder with channel specialists to deliver results.
  • Like bringing ideas to the table rather than waiting to be told, in a fast-moving digital world.
  • Are curious about the channels and always want to learn more.

What we’re looking for

  • Proactivity, curiosity and passion. You ask good questions and turn up ready, with a point of view on what you would do and why.
  • Channel experience. Working knowledge across PPC, paid social, SEO and website and design projects, enough to start any conversation with confidence even if a specialist finishes it.
  • Commercial awareness. You are comfortable managing a portfolio of clients with sizable monthly spend and can speak fluently to the numbers.
  • A good problem-solving story. We will want to hear about a time the pressure was on and how you handled it.
  • Self-direction. Digital moves fast, so you bring ideas and sense-check as you go rather than wait to be told.
  • A digital marketing or digital account management background, agency or in-house, B2B or B2C. Sector experience is not essential, so how you think and deliver matters more than which logos you have worked on.
  • Nice to have. Internal stakeholder management and some new-business experience.

Looking after you

  • Time off. 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, extra closure over Christmas, and an annual company day in summer.
  • Work from anywhere every August and for the second half of December, so you can travel or spend time with family.
  • Real flexibility. Core hours, hybrid working and the option to tailor your hours and days, with personal appointments always allowed within working hours.
  • Life benefit days. Extra paid time for big personal moments, from moving home to weddings and graduations, without touching your holiday.
  • Health and security. Private health cover, life assurance, pension contributions and Cycle to Work.
  • Room to grow. A comprehensive training programme plus one-to-one coaching from Account Manager level upwards, with tailored career paths, sabbaticals, volunteering days and further-education support.
  • Wellbeing. A mental-health-first-aid-trained team, counselling, wellness action plans and a buddy system, alongside strong parental leave.
  • The extras. International office exchange, dog-friendly office, an office bar, free weekly breakfast or lunch, and a birthday gift each year.

The details

  • Salary. Circa £50,000, dependent on experience, plus a performance bonus scheme.
  • Hybrid. Minimum one day a week in the central London office, and you are welcome to come in more.
  • Location. London ideally, though the flexible approach means strong candidates elsewhere in the UK will be considered.
  • Visa sponsorship not offered on this position.
