Workshop: Tap Into the Freelance Marketplace

Between technological advancements and the rising cost of living in major cities, it has never made more sense to freelance. And businesses are getting on board too, taking advantage of the trend towards more flexible working.

Freelancers allow businesses to tap into the right talent to fill a specific need at a given time. They can be a great asset and lead to greater efficiency in your business. But if utilising freelancers is outside of your comfort zone, you might be hesitant to make the shift. There are a few things you should know about working with freelancers and making the most of the gig economy.

At this workshop, we will bring together industry peers to discuss best practice and top tips. We will discuss:

  • Common misconceptions about working with freelancers
  • Permanent versus freelance: which is best and when?
  • How to get the most out of working with your freelancer
  • How to find, manage, and pay your freelancer

The training will be led by Hanson Search CEO Alice Weightman, talent expert and entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience headhunting in the communications and marketing sectors. She has worked with agencies and brands globally – from New York to Beijing – finding outstanding individuals and advising businesses on how to build all-star teams.

It will be an intimate workshop with a maximum of eight delegates to ensure all participants are actively involved.

Arrive at 8 am for a light breakfast prior to kick-off at 8:15 am.
