Debbie Ellison chats with Alice Weightman about role models and demanding more from ourselves

Debbie Ellison, Head of Digital at Geometry Global and winner of the Women of Tomorrow Awards 2016, chats with Alice Weightman on the Inspiring Stories podcast. Debbie shares her achievements, challenges, and advice for other women looking to succeed in the advertising and creative industries today.

Debbie’s top tip?

“Network. Look for a connection with people in the industry wherever you go. Show that you’re keen and do your research. “I think sometimes we, as women, are not good at networking, keeping in touch, and showing that we’re keen. All the people who I hire, regardless of gender, I want to see that from them. I want to see that they’re keen, proactive, and passionate. I think if you encompass all of those characteristics, then you will have no problem getting into the industry.”
