We are excited to announce the release of our first Marketing and Communications Salary Guide focused on the Middle East region.
Salary can be a bit of an opaque discussion, with both businesses and candidates perhaps being unclear on where they should stand when it comes to renumeration. This guide seeks to provide context for salaries and benefits for various role and industry sectors across the Middle East region, for both full-time employees and freelancers.
This salary guide focuses on roles within marketing, communications, PR, and public affairs, though will allow businesses and workers alike to benchmark themselves and learn what to expect when considering payment for similar roles.
While 2023 came with a bit more stability than 2022, it was still a tricky year for most regions. However, the Middle East had a rapid rise to relevance, with new legislation encouraging a wave of freelancers, as well as businesses pouring into the region to establish new offices. The amount of employees in the region working in the private sector was at an all-time high, and is only predicted to climb.
As premium recruiters and headhunters, we’ve also noticed a substantial uptick in business within the region ourselves. This survey is our first venture into studying the Middle East region, but as the region finds ever more stable footing on the world stage, you can be sure that this will become an annual discussion.
