Social Media Manager, Abu Dhabi

We are recruiting for a dynamic and growing organisation with a prominent international outlook, based in Abu Dhabi, seeking a Social Media Manager to lead its digital and social media strategy. As part of the in-house team, you will play a key role in enhancing the brand’s online presence, driving engagement, and building a strong community across multiple platforms, all while supporting the company’s continued growth and success.

Social Media Manager overview and strategic remit

As Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the company’s goals and objectives. This role will focus on creating engaging content, managing social media channels, and analysing performance data to continuously refine and improve the strategy.

Key responsibilities across social strategy and content

  • Develop and implement a social media strategy to ensure consistent messaging across platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
  • Curate, create, and manage high-quality content that reflects the brand’s voice, values, and mission.
  • Monitor and analyse social media performance, providing actionable insights to senior leadership to optimise strategies and improve engagement.
  • Engage with the online community, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries to foster a positive and engaged audience.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and integrate relevant updates into content.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, communications, etc.) to ensure alignment of social media efforts with overall business goals.
  • Develop and manage paid social media campaigns to amplify key messages and initiatives.
  • Track and report on social media metrics to inform strategic decision-making.

Required experience and technical capability

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing social media channels, with strong knowledge of social media tools and analytics. You should be a creative thinker with a strategic approach to content creation and community management. Excellent writing and editing skills are essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. A keen interest in digital marketing and a strong understanding of social media trends is crucial.
