Hanson Search is partnering with a globally prestigious sustainability initiative headquartered in Abu Dhabi to hire a Manager, Outreach and Stakeholder Relations. This is a high-profile role where you’ll build and look after relationships with government, diplomatic and international partners, and make sure every VIP visit and engagement runs smoothly. This opportunity is open to UAE Nationals only.
The Role: Manager, Outreach and Stakeholder Relations
You’ll shape how the organisation reaches out to the people and institutions that matter most to its work, from UAE government entities to embassies, international organisations and partners around the world. You’ll also lead on protocol, making sure senior leaders and high-level guests are looked after to the highest standard. Your main responsibilities will be:
- Setting and delivering the outreach plan, and deciding which relationships to prioritise
- Building strong, long-term relationships with government entities, embassies and international partners
- Leading protocol for VIP visits and senior engagements, from planning through to the day itself
- Making sure protocol standards are followed consistently across the organisation
- Developing partnership and sponsorship proposals, and helping turn conversations into agreements
- Working closely with internal teams to coordinate events, visits and stakeholder activity
- Managing and developing a small team, with a real focus on growing UAE National talent
The Candidate:
You’ll have solid experience in stakeholder relations, government relations or protocol, ideally gained at a government entity, a semi-government organisation or a large company working closely with government. You’ll be comfortable dealing with senior officials, diplomats and VIPs, and you’ll know how to handle sensitive situations calmly and with good judgement. Experience coordinating high-level visits and working with embassies is important, and any exposure to partnerships or sponsorship would be a plus. You’re organised, well connected and good at bringing different teams together. Fluency in Arabic and English is essential.
