An award-winning communications agency is seeking an Account Manager to join its growing Health practice. Launched in 2018, this specialist team has quickly become a trusted partner for clients at the cutting edge of health tech, pharma, diagnostics, women’s health, pharmacy and eyecare. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment where you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering high-impact campaigns and building trusted relationships with clients, stakeholders and media. This is a great opportunity for a Senior Account Executive to step up, or a junior Account Manager to gain more experience.

Key Responsibilities – Health Communications Account Manager

  • Manage day-to-day client relationships and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Support strategy development through research, competitor analysis, stakeholder mapping, and trend monitoring.
  • Contribute to fully integrated communications campaigns spanning product launches, advocacy, and reputation management.
  • Draft and edit compelling content for multiple audiences, from press releases to thought leadership and social copy.
  • Build and maintain strong media relationships, securing coverage across healthcare and consumer outlets.
  • Oversee budgets, timelines, and deliverables across multiple projects.
  • Mentor junior colleagues, fostering their growth and development.
  • Track and evaluate campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations.

Skills and Experience

We’re looking for a proactive and ambitious communicator who is:

  • Passionate about health and wellbeing, with experience across health tech, pharma, or consumer health.
  • A confident writer, able to translate complex scientific topics into clear, engaging messages.
  • Media-savvy, with proven success in pitching stories and securing coverage.
  • A black book of media contacts in the health, wellbeing and pharma space.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail, ensuring delivery of compliant, high-quality work.
  • A collaborative team player who enjoys building relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.

A scientific background and knowledge of relevant codes (e.g. ABPI, PAGB, EFPIA) would be an advantage, though not essential.

Rewards and Benefits

  • A dynamic, supportive culture with excellent career development opportunities.
  • Ongoing training, mentoring, and personal development planning.
  • Health and dental insurance, flexible working, and regular socials.
  • A generous sabbatical scheme after four years of service.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing practice within a highly regarded agency and make a tangible impact in the health and well-being sector.
