CFO Leadership Mandate

We are advising a fast-growing, multinational investment group on the appointment of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) based in Dubai. This is a senior, Board-facing role with responsibility for the Group’s financial leadership, governance framework and long-term value creation agenda. The Chief Financial Officer will act as a close strategic partner to the Chairman, Chief Executive and senior leadership team, providing insight and challenge across investment activity, capital structure and portfolio performance. The position blends strategic oversight with hands-on financial leadership across multiple jurisdictions.

Chief Financial Officer Role Context and Strategic Influence

As CFO, you will sit at the centre of the Group’s decision-making, shaping financial strategy while ensuring strong operational and reporting discipline. The role requires an individual comfortable operating at both strategic and executional level, able to support complex investment activity while building scalable financial infrastructure. This Chief Financial Officer appointment offers exposure to capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, and international expansion within a dynamic, high-growth investment environment.

Core CFO Responsibilities and Financial Leadership Priorities

• Lead the Group’s financial strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate and investment objectives
• Own financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance management at Group level
• Oversee accurate, timely and transparent financial reporting across all entities, in accordance with IFRS
• Partner with the Chairman and CEO on capital raising, including equity, debt and alternative funding structures
• Lead the financial elements of M&A activity, including valuation, due diligence, transaction execution and post-deal integration
• Support investment decision-making through rigorous financial analysis and portfolio oversight

CFO Profile and Required Experience

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent)
• Proven experience as a CFO, Finance Director or senior finance leader within a multinational, investment-led or complex group environment
• Strong background in private equity, investments, corporate finance, capital raising and M&A
• Deep technical expertise in financial reporting, planning and IFRS
• Experience managing cross-border structures and international accounting standards
• Collaborative leadership style with a track record of building and mentoring strong finance teams
