Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – UAE Executive Leadership Role

We are conducting a retained search for a highly successful and profitable organisation in the UAE seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead its finance operations. As a key member of the senior leadership team, the CFO will play an integral role in supporting continued growth, shaping financial strategy and ensuring long-term financial strength and sustainability.

As Chief Financial Officer, you will oversee all aspects of the finance function, driving robust financial management and providing critical insights to support strategic decision-making. The role encompasses responsibility for working capital, cash flow and credit management, alongside strong governance, reporting and financial oversight across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities: Chief Financial Officer, UAE

• Lead all financial operations, with a strong focus on working capital management, cash flow optimisation and credit control
• Oversee inventory accounting, depreciation and asset management in a complex, multi-asset environment
• Deliver accurate financial reporting, forecasting and strategic insight to senior leadership and the board
• Establish and maintain strong financial governance, controls and risk management frameworks
• Partner closely with the C-suite to support strategic planning, performance optimisation and business growth
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team, building a high-performance and commercially focused function
• Drive operational efficiency, cost control and financial discipline across the business
• Own financial planning, budgeting and analysis, translating data into clear, actionable insight
• Modernise the finance function through systems implementation, automation and process improvement

Chief Financial Officer Profile: Experience and Expertise Required

The ideal candidate will bring senior finance leadership experience within a complex, multi-business environment, with a strong understanding of the UAE market. Experience in sectors such as retail, consumer goods, real estate, construction or services will be highly advantageous. You will demonstrate deep commercial finance expertise, a track record of success in high-growth, profitable organisations and the ability to influence at board and executive level. Strong leadership capability and the confidence to operate as a strategic partner to the CEO and senior leadership team are essential.
