Associate Director of Sustainability Communications Job in the Corporate Affairs industry

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Associate Director of Sustainability Communications to join their highly-regarded Corporate Affairs & Responsible Business team in London.
In this role, you will be a key sustainability communications specialist, offering senior client counsel, shaping innovative ESG programs, and driving the growth of their sustainability proposition. You’ll collaborate across sectors, work with leading global brands, and help clients navigate sustainability challenges while delivering impactful communications.

Associate Director of Sustainability Communications Responsibilities:
- Lead senior client relationships, offering strategic advice on corporate and sustainability communications.
- Develop and implement creative ESG communications strategies, including crisis management.
- Work with internal teams and stakeholders to create purpose-driven campaigns that align with sustainability goals.
- Drive new business opportunities, using your expertise to differentiate the agency in pitches and build lasting client partnerships.
- Manage and mentor teams, contributing to company-wide initiatives and leadership.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven expertise in sustainability communications across multiple sectors.
- Strong client management skills with a deep understanding of ESG, regulatory, and industry trends.
- Exceptional storytelling ability, translating complex sustainability strategies into clear, engaging narratives.
- Experience with business development and a solid media network.
