Our client – a leading international communications consultancy – is looking to hire a Deputy Head of Sustainability to their 250-strong HQ in London. The agency operates across Europe, Africa and the Middle East, acting for over 700 clients across the globe, from large quoted multi-national corporations to SMEs just starting out on their journey.
As Deputy Head of Sustainability, you will work in a practice-agnostic comms team, reporting to the Head of Sustainability. The successful candidate will specialise in driving change through effective engagement, collaboration, and communication. They will provide counsel and support to high value clients and their account teams, while also helping retain external thought-leadership in the fast-moving space of sustainability communications.
The successful candidate will have a passion for sustainability and will be pragmatic and practical about finding solutions to the very real ESG challenges firms are facing globally. They will have worked across a range of sectors and have proficient experience in advising sustainability clients in at least two of the disciplines of corporate affairs, public policy, capital markets or ESG reporting or will have held a relevant senior in-house position.
