Alice Maltby is a Director at Hanson Search MENA, working within the firm’s Hanson Capital practice.
Alice is a consultant based in Dubai, where she specialises in investor markets across the UAE and wider Middle East. In this role, she leads senior executive search assignments across private equity, asset management and institutional investment organisations. She supports investment firms and businesses that are launching into the UAE or expanding their regional footprint. In particular, Alice provides strategic regional advice alongside targeted talent sourcing. She works closely with founders, boards and senior leadership teams to build high-performing investment, investor relations, fundraising and portfolio value creation teams. Her work supports clients during critical phases of capital deployment, fund formation and regional growth.
Private Equity, Investor Relations and Fundraising Expertise
Alice brings a deep level of understanding of the international investment landscape, built over nine years working with leading private equity funds. Most recently, she was part of the Investor Relations team at LeapFrog Investments. There, she played a key role in client servicing, fundraising and co-investment strategies. Prior to that, Alice spent more than four years at Apax Partners. During this time, she contributed to several successful billion-dollar fundraises and supported the development of ESG initiatives. In addition, she worked across London, Dubai and Singapore, which gave her strong regional insight and long-term investor relationships.
Earlier her career, Alice worked in financial executive search. This experience provided a solid foundation in talent-led growth and leadership advisory within private capital markets. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from the University of Bristol.
