About Alice Maltby
Based in Dubai, Alice works on investor markets across the UAE and the wider Middle East, where she leads senior executive search and talent advisory assignments across private equity, asset management and institutional investment organisations. Her appointment further strengthens Hanson Capital’s position as a specialist practice supporting investment-led organisations with senior financial, investment and investor relations leadership.

Alice works closely with investment firms and businesses launching into the UAE or expanding their regional footprint. In doing so, she provides strategic regional insight alongside access to high-calibre local and international talent. Additionally, she partners with founders, boards and senior leadership teams to build investment, investor relations, fundraising and portfolio value creation capabilities. Through this work, she supports clients during critical phases of capital deployment, fund formation and regional growth. Alice brings an understanding of the international investment landscape. This has been shaped by nine years within leading private equity firms. Most recently, she was part of the Investor Relations team at LeapFrog Investments. There, she played a key role in client servicing, fundraising and co-investment strategies. Prior to this, she spent over four years at Apax Partners, where she contributed to multiple billion-dollar fundraises and supported the development of ESG initiatives.
Her career has been international in scope, with experience across London, Dubai and Singapore. She brings strong cross-border market insight and well-established relationships across global investor communities. Alice began in financial executive search. This experience provided a strong foundation in talent-led growth and leadership advisory within private capital markets.
Strengthening Hanson Capital
Hanson Search MENA has supported organisations across the GCC for over a decade. During this time, the firm has partnered with government-backed entities, family offices, international businesses and consultancies on business-critical leadership appointments. Meanwhile, the region has seen rising investment activity, increased fund formation and continued capital markets growth. As a result, demand for senior investment and financial talent has accelerated significantly. In response, Hanson Search has formalised Hanson Capital as a dedicated practice. Specifically, the practice focuses on investment, private equity, asset management and financial leadership. Furthermore, it supports both regional and international organisations as they establish and scale operations across the Middle East. This is delivered through a combination of deep regional knowledge and global reach.
Alice’s appointment therefore marks an important step in the continued growth of Hanson Capital. Her experience within leading private equity firms, combined with her expertise in investor relations, fundraising and ESG integration, strengthens the firm’s ability to advise clients strategically. Ultimately, it also enhances access to exceptional investment and financial leadership talent.
