A leading multi-disciplinary sports, leisure, and hospitality destination in the UAE is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead and manage its end-to-end human resources function. With a workforce of over 500 employees across diverse operations, this is an exciting opportunity to shape people strategy, drive culture, and strengthen HR governance in a dynamic, service-driven environment. We are looking for someone who is excited by driving a culture change program.

About the HR Manager role

The HR Manager will oversee all HR operations across multiple departments, balancing strategic HR leadership with hands-on operational delivery. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing a positive workplace culture, improving recruitment and onboarding practices, and ensuring compliance with UAE labour laws and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities for the HR Manager role

  • Lead core HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, learning & development, compensation & benefits, and HR administration
  • Oversee HR operations for a large, multi-national workforce across diverse business units
  • Ensure compliance with UAE labour law, government regulations, and internal HR policies
  • Manage staff welfare, accommodation-related HR matters, discipline, and employee engagement
  • Partner with senior leadership and department heads to support business objectives
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and systems to support growth and operational excellence
  • Support workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development initiatives

Experience required:

  • Proven HR management experience in a large organization (experience in hospitality, sports, leisure, or facilities sectors preferred)
  • Strong working knowledge of UAE labour law and HR best practices
  • Experience managing multi-cultural, high-volume workforces
  • Hands-on, people-focused leader with strong problem-solving ability
  • Comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels
