Head of Finance, Service-Driven Organisation, Dubai

We are partnering with a partnering with a rapidly growing, service-driven organisation in the UAE. As demand continues to scale, we are seeking an exceptional Head of Finance. This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for driving financial excellence, strengthening systems and controls, enabling data-driven decision-making and ensuring the long-term financial health of the business.

Role Overview

Reporting into the Director of Commercial & Finance, you will oversee the full spectrum of financial operations, from day-to-day accounting and reporting, to long-term strategic planning and cashflow forecasting. You will lead a growing finance function, establishing best-in-class processes, upgrading systems and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements across multiple subsidiaries.

This role sits at the heart of the organisation and will suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment where operational rigour and strategic foresight are equally essential.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily finance operations including AP/AR, payroll, general ledger and monthly/quarterly/annual reporting.
• Strengthen financial systems, internal controls, and process improvements across the group.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, working capital and rolling cashflow projections across all subsidiaries.
• Support long-term planning, including 5–10 year forecasts and scenario modelling.
• Deliver clear financial insights, KPIs and board-level reporting to support executive decision-making.
• Partner with IT to implement and optimise financial tools and system integrations.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS standards, audit requirements, tax regulations and internal policies.
• Identify financial risks and lead mitigation planning.
• Build strong relationships with internal leaders, external auditors, banks and regulatory authorities.
• Lead, develop and mentor a high-performing finance team.

Who We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Professional certifications (CPA, ACCA, CMA) highly desirable.
• Progressive financial management experience, including leadership role experience.
• Strong expertise in reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and financial controls.
• Proven experience implementing finance systems and process enhancements (e.g., ERP, M365).
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• A proactive, analytical and solutions-driven leader with the ability to operate confidently in a fast-growing environment.
