We are working with a leading consultancy specialising in political insight, communications, and government relations to find an Adviser Government Relations. This entry-level role offers the opportunity to work with high-profile clients, including corporate advocacy projects and private equity advisory teams, while developing expertise in policy, strategy, and stakeholder engagement.
Adviser Government Relations Role

Support the delivery of client programmes and ensure deadlines are met

Build strong client relationships with professionalism and confidence
-
Assist senior colleagues with client development and new business opportunities
-
Monitor political, policy, and regulatory developments to provide timely updates
-
Draft policy briefings, summaries, and client-ready content
-
Grow your external network and identify opportunities to support account growth

Contribute to marketing activities, including blogs, events, social media, and reports
Candidate requirements

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-
Strong organisational and time management abilities

Ability to build positive relationships and networks

Genuine interest in politics, policy, and current affairs
-
Creative, proactive, and commercially aware
-
Consultancy, in-house, or Parliamentary experience desirable but not essential
