An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Global Communications Specialist to join a world-renowned mobile games developer based in Helsinki. This hybrid role offers the chance to shape and execute impactful communications strategies across global markets, helping embed iconic games into the fabric of popular culture.

Working as part of a small, expert Brand & Communications team, you will be at the heart of driving earned media strategies, managing global PR networks, and strengthening Supercell’s presence across key regions. You’ll collaborate with internal teams including game developers, marketing and community leads to amplify storytelling and build enduring brand visibility worldwide.

Global Communications Specialist Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and implement earned media strategies across key markets including Germany, France, Spain, Brazil, Mexico, and Japan
  • Build and manage a global network of PR agencies, from selection to ongoing partnership oversight
  • Act as a point of contact for global media enquiries, delivering expert commentary and game-related insights
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align comms initiatives with long-term marketing and brand goals
  • Develop and maintain relationships with media across the consumer, gaming, and entertainment industries
  • Contribute to broader brand-building efforts to strengthen corporate reputation and global impact

Global Communications Specialist Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in global communications, ideally in gaming, entertainment or consumer brands
  • Proven success delivering end-to-end external communications campaigns across multiple markets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; fluency in French, German, or Spanish is an advantage
  • Background in both agency and in-house roles is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of the gaming and entertainment media landscape and evolving industry trends
  • Proactive, organised and resourceful, with the ability to focus on priorities and deliver high-impact results
