A highly creative and vibrant PR agency specialising within the cultural sector, particularly the Arts, and has offices in US and UK, is looking for a talented Senior Account Director to join them. The agency works across PR, brand strategy, media, digital and social media and drives growth whilst maintaining client reputation. Current clients include galleries, museums and design organisations. This is an exciting position for an ambitious candidate, seeking to really own their space within a new team.   

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Project management across clients and external agencies ensuring the delivery of all outlined objectives and deliverables 
  • Planning developing and implementing strategy – formulating campaigns, copywriting and brand strategies
  • Conceive, develop and implement client account strategies
  • Produce in-depth research, analysis and reporting documentation for clients  
  • Oversee campaign timelines and schedules for distributing press materials
  • Oversee client reports in collaboration with account manager
  • Deal with or delegate press requests
  • Manage communication with VIPs and client advocates attending client or media events
  • Attend client meetings and ensuring clients are aware of pending and achieved press on publication
  • Media training for clients – preparation for interviews and discussion of interview strategy
  • Work with clients to assess issues, develop recommendations and implement business improvement processes  
  • Work with clients to identify potential alliances and partnerships
  • Lead on the creation of proposals where relevant  
  • Actively take responsibility for seeking new business
  • Develop ideas for business development and brand partnerships
  • Be available for international travel for client events when requested  

Key Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Currently working in communications, ideally within the arts, design, fashion or lifestyle sectors
  • An enthusiastic manager with strong organisational skills
  • Demonstrable strategic and creative ability across PR and social media
  • Experienced in forming strong client relationships
  • Able to turn around high-quality work to short deadlines
