We are looking for a highly motivated and seasoned Strategic Communications Associate Director to join a prestigious international consultancy specialising in strategic research and communications. In this role, you will be responsible for leading influential campaigns within the real estate and infrastructure sectors, offering expert advice to senior clients, and shaping the political and communications strategies around major development initiatives. Associate Director – Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert counsel to senior clients on political and communications risks related to real estate and infrastructure projects.
Associate Director’s job is to Oversee and manage complex, research-driven strategic projects from start to finish.
Serve as a trusted advisor, delivering outstanding work that leads to tangible results.
Plan and oversee projects, ensuring they align with budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities with both current and prospective clients.
Meet revenue targets, while contributing to contract renewals and cross-practice referrals.
Create thought leadership content to enhance market visibility and generate new leads.
Represent the consultancy’s brand through professional networks and public engagements.
Lead presentations and pitches, effectively showcasing the firm’s expertise.
Inspire and mentor team members, fostering a culture of excellence and supporting career growth.
Key Requirements:
Significant experience in strategic communications, campaigning, or political affairs, particularly within the real estate and infrastructure sectors.
Strong knowledge of the UK planning system and development landscape.
Proven ability to independently manage client relationships and stakeholder communications.
Experience in consultancy, with a keen commercial acumen and the ability to manage profitable projects.
Demonstrated success in securing business through proposals and client engagement.
Strong project management capabilities, including budgeting and resource management.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
A proactive, solution-oriented approach with a passion for achieving meaningful outcomes.
