Our client is a renowned international healthcare consultancy group, with 40 offices and 11 brands across the globe aiming to transform healthcare marketing and communications into healthcare engagement. They are experts in advertising and branding, data and analytics, strategic planning, service design, digital media and technology, science, and medicine.

In your role as an Account Director you will lead prestigious, high profile engagements with major pharmaceutical clients. You are expected to become an expert in their clients’ business and maintain and grow client relationships, while leading and overseeing teams to support delivery of the organisational priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To act as a trusted advisor to your clients and bring your expertise in running campaigns globally.
  • Supporting full end-to-end campaigns, from the development of insights, strategy, content development, activation and amplification and effective measurement and reporting.
  • Finding inventive solutions and compelling ways to deliver engaging campaigns and turn innovative ideas into reality, while partnering and collaborating with the international teams to identify unique storytelling opportunities.
  • Nurturing and expanding client relationships; identifying potential leads and areas of growth with existing clients, as well as broader new business leads.
  • Training and guiding junior team members and contributing to company culture.

Key Requirements:

  • At least 5 years’ experience working in the healthcare industry and ideally within healthcare marketing and advertising agency.
  • Knowledge of managing day-to-day operations of client accounts, including, where appropriate, responding to client requests, delegating tasks and working with the senior team.
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Desire to work with an integrated team across a range of campaigns, including disease awareness, patient advocacy, digital platforms and media relations.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English - additional languages would be an advantage.
