This is a brilliant opportunity for an Associate Director/Director to join the EU Public Affairs team in an internationally renowned strategic consultancy specialising in corporate affairs, change management, financial communications and political affairs. The business is part of one of the leading global consultancy groups, with clients including the world’s largest businesses and technology disruptors. They are now looking to strengthen their leadership team in the fast-growing Brussels office, where you will have the benefit of large network, with the agility and entrepreneurial mindset of a small consultancy.

In your role as Associate Director/Director you will have an active role in a growing function within the organisation. Reporting directly to the MD, you will be fully responsible for managing client accounts in the digital sector, while leading and overseeing project teams, account delivery and assisting the clients to stay on top of the EU legislative landscape.

Key responsibilities:

  • Taking lead in managing client accounts in the digital sector, as part of the senior EU Public Affairs team.
  • Acting as an expert in your field, while developing and implementing EU Public Affairs campaigns (legislative and non-legislative) and advising and providing strategic counsel to clients.
  • Foreseeing opportunities to develop the business organically within the group network and expand the existing clients accounts.
  • Bring strategic vision to level up the strategic insight across the team and development of junior team members.

Key requirements:

  • Relevant consultancy experience, managing global accounts and experience with advising clients on international Public Affairs strategies in the digital/tech/fintech sector.
  • Expertise and network in the EU legislative and policy landscape.
  • Ambitious and entrepreneurial drive with the ability to hire, grow, develop and lead a team.
  • Business development-oriented and proactive self-starter, able to attract clients and identify business opportunities.
  • Naturally curious about economic, political and social matters, with desire to stay up to date with the current news and trends.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English – additional languages would be an advantage.
