Quality of living or places to get some sleep!

So this year’s Mercer list of top 50 cities to live was released this week with the media seemingly quick to pounce on the poor showing by UK cities.
According to the 2010 list, only London makes the grade and that at a rather lowly 39th. Yes that is correct – apparently there are 38 more desirable cities in the world to live than London. So ladies and gentlemen, the home of the Queen, thousands upon thousands of bars and restaurants , West End shows and theatres and many of the world’s premier sporting events is a less desirable option than Ottawa, Luxembourg and Canberra!
A look at the top of the list features some European heavyweights of the business commuter belt including Zurich, Geneva and Frankfurt so perhaps Radisson hotels and frequent flyer miles were the deciding factors in the voting system?
Message to our new coalition government – London needs more conference centres!
