Recently, we’ve been made aware that individuals have been receiving fraudulent text messages from someone posing as a recruiter from Hanson Search. We want to make it absolutely clear: these scam messages are not from us.
They are part of a wider scam targeting individuals globally and are in no way connected to our business or our team and we encourage you to always verify the identity of the person reaching out to you if you have never spoken to them before. This could be via their official email address, LinkedIn or calling the main office number or via our website.
This is not an isolated incident. Unfortunately, scams impersonating businesses and recruitment consultancies are on the rise. These messages may appear convincing, often including real company names, logos, or employee names, but they are designed to deceive and exploit. They might use our consultants photos on what’s app – often using business accounts.
We urge anyone who receives an unexpected text, email, or message claiming to be from Hanson Search to take care.
If you’re unsure whether a communication is genuine, do not respond, click on any links, or provide any personal details. Instead, please contact us directly so we can help confirm the legitimacy of the message.
If you have received a suspicious message or would like to report one, please contact a member of our team, or email us at enquiries@hansonsearch.com.
