Meet Our Speakers: 

Effie Kanyua: Founder of We Are Warriors PR and LILA Assistant, the first female founded AI Premium Writing and Content Tool. Previously known for her work at Hearst as Director of PR and Communications where she launched D&I strategies and initiatives across the publishing industry. A focus in her previous experiences also placed upon mentoring Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic and female professionals.  

Sheeraz Gulsher: Founder of People Like Us and Braver, a company helping to foster a fairer workplace, supporting navigating workplace barriers, hoping to foster a fairer workplace through equitable pay whatever heritage or industry. 

Barbara Phillips: CEO of The Black Curriculum and Chair of the PRCA Race and Ethnicity Equity Board (REEB) – Empowering all students with a sense of cultural identity through the teaching of Black British History, with an aim to support social cohesion and knowledge development in young people.
