Hanson Search is a leading headhunting consultancy across marketing, communications and commercial roles. We recruit globally for in-house teams and agencies across the UK, Europe, Middle East and USA. 

The Work Crowd is a freelance online platform that connect businesses to the best freelancers in marketing, with the vision to become the leading freelance marketing provider of expert talent globally. Currently a pay as you go model, and soon to be pivoted to providing a subscription-based community.   

Both businesses were founded by Alice Weightman, Alice is passionate about diversity and believes that talent businesses play an integral role in helping businesses transform and grow.  

We are currently looking for a digitally focused marketing lead who can take a hands-on, agile approach to marketing. Someone who can both lead and activate campaigns, to ensure we are maximising and building on our position in the market.  We want to be seen to be ‘adding value’ to the industry through our insights; known for producing brilliantly informative content – webinars, content pieces and newsletters. These in turn can be used to implement sales funnels across both businesses to convert to leads and drive revenue. We want to ensure we have a robust SEO programme in place and to build out our landing pages across key markets. We are keen to ensure we achieve maximum coverage across social channels – particularly LinkedIn, driving key campaigns on diversity, future of work as well as promote key individuals in the business as thought- leaders.  

Working with a team of freelancers with experience in writing and PR, you will work closely with the CEO and members of both The Work Crowd and Hanson Search to drive collaboration and deliver results. 

Key skills: 

  • Comes from a broad B2B and B2C marketing background, with a particular focus on digital marketing  
  • Excellent understanding of SEO and PPC to build data driven campaigns and maximise the tools to help deliver tangible results  
  • Experience in email marketing and automation.  
  • Experience in SaaS based marketing and product launch  
  • Project management to work with external freelancers and internal colleagues to action projects

PA to CEO Sam White

Sam joined Hanson Search in 2016 as our internal recruiter, having previously worked as an independent head-hunter. She is now PA to the CEO, Alice Weightman. Sam has a marketing degree from Southampton Solent University.
