Exciting in-house opportunity for a marketing and communications professional to drive content, communications and marketing for a business in the human capital sector, which has a global presence and innovative technology. They are award winning and well established, with a tech start up arm to the company.

They are looking for a Marketing and Communications Manager who has excellent writing capabilities in both short and long form, is an excellent communicator with broad marketing and communications skills and is also interested in business and talent subjects.

The role would involve a range of marketing initiatives including content writing and development, leading campaigns around diversity and developing marketing concepts to position the business as a global thought leader.

This is a hands-on role – helping to develop creative concepts and strategy and then implementing them. Written content will play a significant part of the role, as will developing live events, round tables and webinars and PR and communications internally and externally to help to drive commercial objectives. Promoting diversity in the workplace – in particular gender and race, is an important part of the role.

The ideal candidate would need to be a proactive individual who can work in a standalone environment to deadlines. Someone who can take the lead in raising the business profiles and those of the senior management team, who is passionate about championing diversity, has an interest in talent, business and current affairs, and who will throw themselves headfirst into the challenge.

Purpose of Job:

  • Support in developing a marketing and content strategy in line with commercial goals
  • Develop a range of content for various media and social channels
  • Ensure the website is kept up to date and driving leads into the business
  • Raise the brand profiles through various media platforms and events
  • Big focus on championing diversity across both businesses
  • Ensure the businesses are recognised as thought leaders
  • Ensure uniformity on social challenges for all those in the businesses


  • At least a few years of experience in either an agency or inhouse team
  • Proven experience with balancing different stakeholders and driving successful campaigns either inhouse or in a PR or Communications agency.
  • Experienced with writing content.
