This fully integrated global agency is looking for a creative, strategic and ambitious Director of Marketing as maternity leave cover for 9-12 months, starting in December 2019. 

The agency offers marketing, design, digital, social and PR services to firms specifically in the financial, technology and professional services sectors. With over 85 employees across London, New York, Amsterdam, Singapore and Hong Kong, it prides itself on its unique combination of financial markets expertise and creative talent helping financial services firms improve their business profiles, protect their reputations, generate awareness and gain cut-through in the market.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to make a material difference in helping to develop in one of the fastest-growing areas of the agency. The role will cover creative marketing output and management of the London based team as well as delivering work at a global level. 

This role encompasses a diverse range of skills including creative, strategy and management. As the ideal candidate, you will have all three, however, we are specifically seeking candidates who show particular strength in the creative aspect, with a desire to apply and grow their skillset in the others.

The role will jointly lead a superb team of account managers, account executives, designers and developers.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Creative and confident in art, directing and copywriting – from creative briefs, writing ad copy and infographics to concepting ideas for events, content and branding
  • Lead on direction, vision and quality control for client projects
  • Lead on research, strategic and pure consulting accounts – e.g. content, brand and broader marketing strategy. 
  • Be an integral part of the London management team 
  • Manage P&L, working closely with finance, the team and other directors to ensure accounts and projects are profitably priced, serviced and reported
  • Lead client accounts, including the current largest account for the agency in EMEA – overseeing the account, providing client counsel, working closely with the client leadership team and owners
  • Manage resourcing for marketing, creative, digital and social
  • Build a sales pipeline and lead/take part in new business initiatives and pitch processes

Key Requirements:

  • Highly experienced commercial marketing leader (ideally in B2B)
  •  Experience managing an in-house team
  •  Experience managing P&L
  • Proven record of playing a pivotal role in winning new business
