Our client, a leading specialist health communications and medical education agency, is excited to announce a new Healthcare PR Account Director position within their comms team. The role will ideally suit a strong and capable Senior Account Manager, ready to take the step to the Account Director level.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day and work with a junior team across a variety of projects; primarily product communications in addition to internal communications campaigns and disease awareness initiatives
  • Manage all project timelines ensuring that they’re delivered on time and on budget.
  • Contribute to new business pitch presentations
  • Advise and counsel clients in best strategy and be comfortable with interacting with a range of personalities

Key Requirements:

  • You are currently working at Senior Account Manager level or a recently appointed Account Director
  • You have gained solid experience within a PR agency and bring a wealth of healthcare PR and communications expertise, looking to consolidate and build upon your current knowledge
  • You have exceptional writing abilities and you’re able to produce well-structured, medically sound copy across the content spectrum
  • Great understanding of NHS and EU health systems and fully trained in the ABPI Code of Practice
  • You have experience working on global and domestic campaigns
  • Degree qualified (ideally within the science, although not essential)
