No two days are the same as an Account Manager within this award-winning team of healthcare communicators. If you are creative and enjoy thinking strategically, then this role has the perfect scope to implement those characteristics in your work.   

Accounts will be a mix of big-name pharmaceuticals as well as more niche offerings for you to develop as versatile healthcare communicator. Projects will have a real integrated focus; drawing on strong traditional and digital elements to create well rounded and innovative campaigns.

They are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Healthcare PR Account Manager with a flair for creating provoking awareness campaigns; creative product launches; stakeholder or patient engagement and thought leadership content.

Key responsibilities:

  • Driving day-to-day account handling, whilst providing direction and support to junior members of the account team
  • Providing clients with specific agency healthcare counsel
  • Assisting with new business proposal development and pitching
  • Responsible for budgetary control (trackers, fee forecasting/reconciliation, budgeting, and invoicing)
  • Writing high-quality health documents, ensuring the highest standards for all client deliverables and with work that includes both traditional PR and digital/social innovation

Key requirements:

  • You are an ambitious Senior Account Executive or Account Manager within a PR agency, looking to build upon your current knowledge within the Healthcare PR space 
  • Possess strong project management, planning, and strategic thinking skills
  • Experience managing junior colleagues as well as upwardly-manage to make best possible use of time and expertise
  • Understand the strategic overview of their accounts and able to contribute to strategic planning events
  • Understanding of UK, EU and global healthcare systems and fully trained in the ABPI Code of Practice
  • Degree qualified (Ideally a science degree but not essential)
