Our client, an international conglomerate, is looking for a Head of Marketing and Communications  to join their newly established Head office function  in Dubai. The role will lead on all marketing & communication activities for the group and its verticals across a number of wide-ranging sectors including Real Estate, Energy Infrastructure and Construction and conservation.

As Head of Marketing and Communication you will be tasked with building not only the group brand but redefining each individual businesses’ brand and profile. You will adopt the role of ‘Brand Guardian’ to ensure that the naming, identity and messaging is synergised across the group and entities.

The role will be hands on, and the client is looking for the individual to establish the marketing & communications strategy across the organisation. You will have the proven ability to work in a dynamic group environment ideally with a B2B & B2G background and will have experience leading an international team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishing the Group’s marketing strategy and overseeing the implementation to support the group and each business in achieving its objectives and growth goals.
  • Setting marketing goals for each business whilst supporting with business development activity.
  • Delivering Group objectives and driving continuous improvement in positioning, branding and communication deliverables.
  • Responsible for setting and managing both business and group marketing budgets.
  • Monitoring, reviewing, and reporting on all marketing and communications activities and results including ROI.
  • Overseeing all marketing and communications activity both in house and with the external agency.
  • Building, managing and developing the Marketing & Communications team.
  • Liaising and working closely with the foundation arm of the business to oversee and support the business unit CSR and sponsorship activities.
  • Driving the Group’s digital and brand transformation.
