Working for a leading global, fast-growth, and innovative financial services technology business, this Communications Manager role is a brilliant opportunity to shape, establish, and scale strategic external communications efforts across the EMEA region.

As a senior member of a highly dynamic communications team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the organisation’s global brand, working in partnership with the Communications Director and members of the Leadership Team to reach millions of people with key messaging.

You should have extensive experience developing global media strategies, shaping messaging, building campaigns, and building brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating and implementing press-worthy international and regional media campaigns
  • Identifying and driving a regular drumbeat of stories to support business goals, excelling at opportunistic storytelling and inserting the organisation’s key messaging into topical, industry and competitive news cycles
  • Providing communications counsel and support to the EMEA Leadership Team, including drafting reactive responses and crisis communications
  • Managing content creation for key communication vehicles, including news releases, media pitches, media responses, byline articles and blogs for executives, research reports, spokesperson quotes, messaging documents and award submissions
  • Managing an external PR agency 

Key Requirements:

  • Extensive experience delivering impactful external communications campaigns
  • A first-class storyteller with strong media connections across the EMEA region and the ability to construct media-worthy narratives
  • Experience managing c-suite executive(s) communications strategy
  • Results driven and uses metrics to measure success and drive change
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment with excellent project management skills  
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, and energetic attitude
