One of Europe’s leading venture capitalists are looking for a confident, strong-willed and highly intelligent Digital Marketing and Events Manager to join their rapidly growing business. With a record breaking last 18 months, this VC has raised billions in capital for numerous high growth European tech ventures, joining a portfolio of hundreds backed over the course of 20 years.

Reporting directly into the CMO, the Digital Marketing and Events Manager will join their expanding remit and team, to support their ever-growing portfolio of globally leading technology firms.

Key Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will encompass Digital Marketing and Events, whilst acting as a brand ambassador and storyteller across touch points.

Events Marketing:

  • Supporting a year-round calendar of speaking and sponsorship of tier-one technology events, to maximize brand exposure, and facilitate partners and portfolio leaders to speak together on topics of central interest to the future of European tech.
  • Amplifying and promoting event participation 

Digital Marketing:

  • Supporting the listening, monitoring, and amplifying of portfolio news across social channels and internally to the team; use that knowledge to inform events
  • Managing the flow of news announcements, including new funding announcements, to ensure all audiences are clearly and promptly informed
  • Creating and distributing newsletters to general and LP audiences
  • Creating social posts on LinkedIn and Twitter


Key Requirements:

  • B2B and B2C tech digital marketing and events experience. This could be with a tech brand or a VC, accelerator or financial institution, from an agency or in-house
  • Clear evidence of proficiency in any type of marketing tech for outbound brand building & promotion
  • Highly organised and proactive
  • Top-tier communications skills, including a great proficiency in writing
  • Deeply curious and interested in technology, and technology trends and topics
  • Demonstrably strong intellectual rigour through academic results
