A leading medical device company are looking for a creative, passionate and talented communications expert to lead their growing marketing team for a 12 month period to cover maternity leave. They are currently growing at a rapid pace and have clear ambition to build a world-class medical devices company globally that is matched by innovation and the next generation of surgery devices. They are an award winning company that plans to significantly disrupt the way surgery is performed for the benefit of patients all around the world.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for telling the incredible company story, while building relationships with influential stakeholders.

  • Leading the team that looks after all aspects of global corporate communications
  • Working with team members, and external agency to devise and deliver a government affairs strategy across Europe, working closely with market access colleagues
  • Ensuring consistency in tone of voice and style across the organisation
  • Working closely with the leadership team to advise on external messaging, setting direction for external corporate communications for the business


Key Requirements:

You must have the following:

  • Be a significantly experienced healthcare communications professional
  • Ideally have both agency and in-house experience
  • Have experience of line management, and leading teams
  • Have strong UK & international public relations experience
  • Have extensive experience of working with senior stakeholders whether that is government, media, C-suite executives or board members.
