A leading medical device company is looking for a creative, passionate and talented communications expert to join their growing marketing team. They are currently growing at a rapid pace and have clear ambition to build a world-class medical devices company globally that is matched by innovation and the next generation of surgery devices. They are an award winning company that plans to significantly disrupt the way surgery is performed for the benefit of patients all around the world.

Key Responsibilities:

Whilst working closely with the Communications Director you will be responsible for:

  • Proactively identifying communication opportunities and channels for execution
  • Developing communications plans for both global and in-market PR
  • Working closely with external and internal stakeholders to tell the brand story
  • Maintaining relationships with top tier media
  • Managing the day to day press office, working alongside the senior communications executive
  • Developing content for use across traditional and digital channels
  • Working closely with the leadership team to build the company’s profile globally

Key Requirements:

  • Must have significant experience in pharmaceuticals (preferably medical devices) public relations/ communications, either in-house or in an agency
  • Natural ability for storytelling, turning a complex story into something anyone can understand
  • Strong international public relations experience
  • Extensive experience in working with senior stakeholders including media, KOLs and C-suite executives
  • Be proactive, enthusiastic and curious
