A very exciting and unique opportunity has arisen within a leading investment bank for a Press Officer to join their Corporate Communications team on a 12 month contract. Based in the city this role requires the successful candidate to have worked within financial services previously and understand the intricacies of running a Press Office. Experience will include:

· Strong media relations skills

· Good working knowledge and relationships with the financial press

· Financial services experience - preferably banking

· Previously equivalent to SAM or associate level within an agency/in-house

· Previous experience of developing and implementing media programs

· Being an effective strategic thinker and team player

This role offers excellent prospects for ambitious candidates who have previously worked within this sector. Being in such fast paced and dynamic environment will require to the successful individual to be quick thinking and able to pick up and deal with all aspects of press office life promptly and efficiently.
