My client specialises in offering strategic consultancy to the European and US pharmaceutical and biotech industries. They cover a range of areas including in-licensing evaluations, commercial evaluations for research and development/branding/portfolio strategies, mergers and acquisition targets and evaluations, strategic benchmarking and technology landscaping – just to name a few.

The company is led by industry experts who place much emphasis on career development for all team members.  A very clearly defined career path is on offer for the successful candidate. This position will lead to a Managing Director level role within one to two years.

This is an exceptional career move for someone who has solid commercial experience from within the pharmaceutical or biotech industries. The ideal candidate will also have solid commercial consultancy expertise. Not only will this Senior Consultant be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of projects, but he or she will also play a major role in the development of the consultancy itself. This is a leadership position which includes line management responsibilities of two analysts. And of course, this position is client facing – exceptional communication and client management skills are essential. This position is highly analytical. Therefore, commercial analytical skills are essential as well as the ability to oversee the analytical work of other consultants.

Although this company is based in London, they carry out global projects therefore a deep insight and knowledge of the European and US markets are essential.
