My Client is a well established agency specialising in UK healthcare, renowned and respected across the pharmaceutical industry. A growth area for their business is a focus on patient engagement and market access, they require a competent Account Director to join their award winning team!

With increasingly complex issues impacting patient access to medicines at both a national and local level they are developing strategic communications to help drive their pharmaceutical clients’ needs to communicate brand value to their target audience.

The role requires candidates to:

Have significant experience of working on medical communications programmes, involving relationship management and development, with a range of external experts and influencers, including knowledge of the payer environment.
Show a strong aptitude towards leadership and team management, incorporating coaching of junior colleagues.
Exhibit substantial, relevant and strategic business acumen, focusing on maximising client relationship development and opportunities.
Illustrate creative thinking and on demand problem solving, as well as strong interpersonal skills with both colleagues and clients.

In return my client will offer a competitive package, including opportunities to become involved as a member of the senior management team, as well as participation in the operations side of the business. A dedicated coaching and training programme to support development and progression will also be offered.
