My Client are a highly respected and renowned full service medical communications agency who work across a broad range of therapy areas on a global, European and national scale. They are committed to providing precise and client orientated work across a broad range of mediums, making use of social media and technology. 
 
The Role:
 
This exciting opportunity has opened up within the medical education team for a highly skilled Senior Medical Writer. The role will be positioned within the account team, thus the role will suit a proactive person, who is able to self-edit and is able to work both as part of a team and alone. It will be a client facing role and will necessitate a range of travel, both domestically and internationally. This role will also allow you to assist the scientific and strategic direction of the company and its evolution. It will be a pivotal role in terms of both individual and company development and growth and you will also be able to actively support new business development 
 
You & the Role:
  • Your background will be over 5 years experience in the editorial or publishing industries and preferably at least 2 years within an agency environment.
  • You will be a confident and well practiced communicator with a mastery of oral and written communication, including a flair for accurate and dynamic presentation of scientific data. 
  • You will be educated to MSc or PhD level in a life science degree
  • You will be a self-motivated and organized person with plenty of ambition and will have created a wide range of educational materials during your career.
  • Ideally you will have familiarity with rheumatoid arthritis or virology as therapy areas.
